Important: We are in the countryside and it can be hard to find. There will be banners and indications but please make sure you give yourself some extra time...you can't be late! Please bring an umbrella!!!

Ceremony: 16:00 / Aperitif: 18:00 / Dinner: 20:30

Breakfast is being organised for those who are sleeping at the Venue from 9 am until late - You are all invited to come back on the Sunday for lunch at around 1pm for a fun and awesome day!!!.

NOTE TO THE BRITS:Please be aware that French weddings are very different to the UK - Eating, drinking and dancing carries on until early hours of the morning. You have been warned! There would be no excuses for leaving the party early!

PARKING
There is secure parking and plenty of it!!!

ACCOMODATION
For those who have not yet booked any accommodation, please do this as soon as you can. The tourist information website is very good for accommodation: HERE and book it now!!! Let us know if you are struggling with your booking and we will gladly help. (Please bear in mind that La Rochelle is 30 to 40 minutes away from the Venue ).

Camping!
You can sleep at the Venue on the Friday and Saturday nights. There is a very large field that can be used for camping/caravans/tents and you will be able to use the toilet facilities, bathroom, and kitchen of the large house that is next to the venue.

You can also sleep in the house; there is a large dormitory - but no beds or mattresses, so please bring your inflatable mattress and bedding!!!

You can use all the facilities in the house, we have hired it for this reason, it is a beautiful house, so make yourself at home and enjoy it!!!

If you are planning on coming for a week, we will recommend you to spend it on Ile de Re – Very nice island!!

TRANSPORT
Please try to sleep at the Venue or in a B&B near by, as it is really in the sticks!! The venue is 40 minutes away from La Rochelle and 50 minutes away from Iles de Re. Remember that you are all invited to stay on the Sunday for breakfast and lunch for a fun and awesome day!!! DO NOT MISS THE SUNDAY!!!
To come to the wedding, if you do not have a car, please, refer to the Contact part of this website, because there will be a lot of our friends that are coming with cars across the channel and I am sure that they could give you a lift to the venue.

BABY SITTERS
We are in the process of organising for a baby sitter to look after your children for the day so you can relax - They will be coming at 3 pm and will stay until 12pm – if you wish for them to stay longer, please let us know. They will be able to take care of your kids & babies inside the house in a room dedicated to them. There is a TV and DVD player (bring your own DVDs) and everything for baby's food (microwave etc). If you can, arrive 30min earlier to have a chat with them that would be great !!

Megan, Sarah and Anni are also hosting a BBQ on the Thursday evening at their house in the centre of La Rochelle. It will be very informal, bring your own food ,drink but will be a good opportunity for you to meet everybody and organise lifts to the wedding for the Saturday. We will of course join you for the BBQ -

PRESENTS
We are not having a traditional wedding list, however, if you feel the need to offer a gift, there will be a pillar-box available on the day of the wedding for your donation towards the below items and for our honey moon.
You must know that for us, the most important is to have you with us on that special day, party all night and have fun - The pleasure of your company on that day is for us the biggest present ever!!

MUSIQUE
There will be guitars, djumbe, saxophone, piano and other instruments on the Saturday and the Sunday, so please practice and enjoy!
